Arts and Crafts Day organised by Dubai and Sharjah Ladies Group at Creek Park Dubai
You and your kidz are invited for our Arts n Crafts day full of Fun & Socializing organised by “Dubai and Sharjah Ladies Group” at Children City Theatre Hall, Creek Park, Gate 1 in Dubai
DSLC ARTS & CRAFTS DAY
Time: 10am-1pm
Fee: 35 dhm/child

1) Frame Making by Ebtehag Yassin

Visit to Old People House on Sat 7th Feb 09 at 9:15am, Sharjah
DSLC is organising a visit to House of the Elderly for the sake of taking part in being positive in the community.
Date: Sat 7th of Feb
Visit: “Old People Home” in Sharjah
Destination: On Dhaid Road before Sharjah Airport
Meeting Point: Islamic Souk in Sharjah (al-souq al markazy or central souq)
Meeting time: 09:15-09:35am sharp
Visitors: Females and Males
We will be meeting with our cars at Sharjah Central Souq Gold gate at 09:15 am and will be moving inshallah at 09:35 maximun to reach our destination at 10:00 am. We will be staying from one hour to one hour and a half inshalh approx till 11:30am
Program: We will sit with the elderly, chat, read books or newspaper and just basically let them feel comfortable and happy. A mentor will be there waiting for our group to show us around
Donations: The house accepts money, bed covers, pyjamas, jackets, radios or anything you feel would be of benefit to them.
Kids can come but if there is any possibility that they could be left with someone it would be more preferable.

(also mention if you will be coming with your car so those without cars would be distributed on the cars available inshallah)

Encourage women to increase their knowledge of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Support and encourage members to write about Islam in a positive way and give guidance and correction about artistic appropriateness when necessary.
Develop a library of books by outstanding writers, Muslim women in particular, and research and share information about them.
Promote reading and writing of creative fiction among Muslim women and our children, the future authors of Islamic literature.
Support unpublished authors in their efforts to seek publication, and learn about publishing, marketing, and promoting Islamic literature.

These classes are taught by Sister Maha Salem, native-Arabic speaker who has memorized the whole Qur’an and have certifications at the highest levels of Tajweed Studies.
