Allah SubbhanaWaTaala has created and destined partners for us. Just like we strive to get the rizq that Allah Subbhana WaTaala has written for us, we also need to actively make efforts to seek the person we are destined to marry.

Marriages & UAE

I have lived in the UAE all my life. And I know, from what I see around me, that due to various factors, getting married has become a very difficult task in this community. So many Muslims are ‘looking to get married’ but don’t seem to be going anywhere. Besides other reasons, there is a serious net-working problem.

Match-making & Me

I have listened to the concerns of worried parents, I have seen the loneliness of single men & women who live here, I have felt for the reverts who hope to build their own muslim families & I have heard countless times from all sections of society that “There are no good men/girls around!!”

This isn’t true, alhumdullilah. There are many wonderful men & women here, but we don’t come across them due to limited social networking. With the help of Allah SubbhanaWaTaala, I want to do something about it. I have a desire to help. And I have a desire to see happy marriages inshaAllah.

I’ve been approached by strangers as well as people that I personally know asking for assistance in finding a suitable match for themselves or their children. I have noted their details with the aim of helping them if/when I come cross someone that matches their requirements.

Alhumdullilah, that Allah SubbhanaWaTaala made me a means to someone’s union. But, my list of prospective husbands & wives has grown. And as a result, today I feel the need to spread out and extend this assistance to all Muslims in the UAE who are seeking marriage. Fisabeelillah.

All nationalities (muslims only) are welcome to approach me to register themselves, their siblings or their single sons & daughters. I also equally welcome people who are widowed or divorced & those considered by society to be past the ‘ideal’ age.

FIRST eSisters CHARITY BAZAAR – A GREAT SUCCESS !

eSisters is taking the opportunity to thank all participants of our First Charity Bazaar that took place in Dubai, Safa Park on Saturday 7th March 2009.

Although we had a short notice for the Bazaar, lots of used clothes, dishes, electronics, toys and accessories reached our stall. With the help of some volunteers for the sales, we achieved more than 2.000 AED to support our new Muslim sisters in need.

A very special thanks to the Dubai Flea Market Team (www.dubai-fleamarket.com) , who provided us with free space for our Bazaar.

We are planning to repeat this Bazaar next Month:

4th April 2009, Al Safa Park – Entrance Gate No. 5starting from 9am – to 3pm

Coins4charity for the Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre – Dubai

CSR Committee – LET’S MAKE A CHANGE

Feel like your pockets are getting too heavy from the loose change; why not donate them for a good cause “coins4charity” Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre.

There will be 20 empty coin jars allocated with the department coordinators, on a monthly basis we shall pass by and collect the jars with what ever has been collected to donate it to the “Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre” in Barsha, hoping to be part of to raising enough money to support the development and maintenance of the centre.

CSR committee shall organize a visit to the school following the first month of coins collection just to see how were we able to impact change and what were they able to purchase using our donation and a good opportunity to meet the children.

A small effort from you will make a great difference in the lives of these children at the center.

We See Hope Everywhere

Visit to Old People House on Sat 7th Feb 09 at 9:15am, Sharjah

DSLC is organising a visit to House of the Elderly for the sake of taking part in being positive in the community.

Date: Sat 7th of Feb
Visit: “Old People Home” in Sharjah
Destination: On Dhaid Road before Sharjah Airport
Meeting Point: Islamic Souk in Sharjah (al-souq al markazy or central souq)
Meeting time: 09:15-09:35am sharp
Visitors: Females and Males

We will be meeting with our cars at Sharjah Central Souq Gold gate at 09:15 am and will be moving inshallah at 09:35 maximun to reach our destination at 10:00 am. We will be staying from one hour to one hour and a half inshalh approx till 11:30am

Program: We will sit with the elderly, chat, read books or newspaper and just basically let them feel comfortable and happy. A mentor will be there waiting for our group to show us around

Donations: The house accepts money, bed covers, pyjamas, jackets, radios or anything you feel would be of benefit to them.

Kids can come but if there is any possibility that they could be left with someone it would be more preferable.
