Sisters Qur’an Competition for KALEMAH Students: Join Now! We are happy to announce our first-ever Qur’an competition to be held amongst KALEMAH students this coming May 1st 2009. Allah says in the Quran: “It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them…” (Al-Mu’minoon: 61) Why not compete in one of the best deeds most beloved in the sight of Allah? “Indeed the Qur’an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward.” (Al-Israa’: 9) Register as a participant NOW! DETAILS The participant will be judged according to her strength of memorization and adherence to tajweed of the surah for the respective level that she competes in. Our judges will be our Qur’an class instructors, namely: Maha Salem (UAE), Sana Faqih (Yemen) and Aziza Lamani (Morocco). Level 1: Surah An-Naba’ Level 2: Surah Al-Mulk Competition Date: May 1, 2009 Venue: KALEMAH Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM COMPETITION RULES 1. The participant should be a regular KALEMAH student. E.g: Sisters Qur’an class, Fiqh of Tahaarah course, Friday Night Reflections, Tuesday Talk & Tea, etc. 2. Registration starts Monday March 30th and will end Friday April 10th. Competition date is on May 1, 2009. Please fill in the registration form by April 10th. 3. Each level has 3 winners (1st place, 2nd place & 3rd place) with prizes for each winner and surprise gifts for all contestants.
