Do you always struggle with concentrating on your prayers because you do not understand the ayahs that are being recited Do you wish you could learn the language of the Quran, and the language that Prophet Muhammad (sallah Allahu alayhi wa sallam) spoke in? KALEMAH is pleased to announce a new course for starting Saturday May 16th at 7.30pm: “Classical Arabic Language Course” The Arabic language is a foundation for anyone serious about learning their religion. Allah has said in Surah Yusuf 12:2: Verily, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an in order that you may understand. ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him), said: ‘Learn Arabic for it is part of your religion… ’ and ‘Umar ibn Yazeed wrote to Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari (may Allaah be pleased with him) and said: ‘Learn the Sunnah and learn Arabic; learn the Qur’aan in Arabic for it is Arabic.’ Timing: Saturday and Tuesday nights from 7:30 – 9:30pm with a break for Salatul-’Ishaa Location: KALEMAH Course Duration: 4 months Prerequisites: Students MUST already be able to read the Qur’an in Arabic. Instructors: Brothers: AbdulKarim Amdouni, Sisters: Marwa Banhawy Separate classes and instructors for men and women Limited seats are available and students MUST first attend an interview on Tuesday May 12th at 7.30pm.
