The First eSisters Conference, held on Saturday 18th October 2008 in Al Rayan Hotel, Sharjah - UAE was a great success! “More than 30 sisters participated and we had to reject 20 requests due to shortage of space. That shows the great need for our organization” says founder sister umm dawud. The presentation introduced the beautiful concept of eSisters and talked about experiences and handling challenges in the daily dawaa work of women. |
Stating that “Dawaa doesn’t stop with the Shahada”, eSisters is pointing out the isolation and helplessness of muslim reverts and their great need for combined information and personal assistance. “every day women from various nationalities are embracing islam – Allhamduillah – and we are all keen to be present at the testimony of faith. But most of them are left alone right after they are ‘newborn’. Various questions and needs are not handled and isolation starts” says the founder. eSisters aim is to fill this gap and help those converts looking for answers and guidance.
